This ceasefire, which commenced early Wednesday, has brought a pause to hostilities, and both speakers reflected on the latest developments in Lebanon post-agreement. Qalibaf commended Berri for his significant role in facilitating the ceasefire amidst challenging conditions, reiterating Iran’s unwavering support for Lebanon’s governance and population.
Additionally, Qalibaf cautioned against potential Israeli violations of the ceasefire, highlighting the recent assaults by “Takfiri terrorist groups” in Syria as aligned with Israeli interests.
