Zambia Reaffirms Support for Morocco’s Territorial Integrity

Zambia, through Foreign Minister Mulambo Haimbe, has reiterated its support for Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over the Moroccan Sahara during a joint cooperation session with Morocco. Haimbe praised the international consensus led by King Mohammed VI in favor of the Moroccan Autonomy Plan, viewing it as a credible solution to the Sahara dispute.

On December 15th in Accra, during the inaugural session of the Joint Commission for Cooperation between Morocco and Zambia, Zambian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mulambo Haimbe reaffirmed Zambia’s commitment to Morocco’s territorial integrity. He emphasized Zambia’s support for Morocco’s sovereignty over all its territories, including the contentious Moroccan Sahara region. This statement was documented in a joint communiqué co-signed by Haimbe and Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita.

Minister Haimbe lauded the increasing global consensus regarding the Moroccan Autonomy Plan, credited to the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
