The Embassy of Pakistan in France hosted an event for Kashmir Solidarity Day, attended by the Pakistani diaspora and supporters of Kashmir’s struggle for self-determination. Furthermore, the Ambassador called upon India to revoke the unilateral measures enacted since August 5, 2019, which have exacerbated the situation in IIOJK. She emphasized the need to halt illegal demographic alterations and demanded the immediate release of political figures, journalists, and activists unjustly detained.

The Ambassador acknowledged the contributions of the Pakistani and Kashmiri communities in France, assuring them of the Embassy’s unwavering commitment to advocating for the Kashmiris’ inalienable right to self-determination. This event served to reinforce international solidarity and draw attention to the plight of the Kashmiri people.

Kashmir Solidarity Day is observed on February 5 each year to express support for the struggle of the Kashmiri people against Indian occupation and to advocate for their right to self-determination.
