Lebanese President Urges French Support for Withdrawal of Israeli Forces

Tragically, Wajih Zahwi, a seven-year-old boy from Majdal Selem, succumbed to injuries from a January 29 drone strike, violating the ceasefire agreement and highlighting the conflict’s impact on civilians.

The municipality of Ramiyah reported efforts to establish two army posts within the town and to inspect remnants of Israeli military actions. Concurrently, a foreign photojournalist claimed threats from the Israeli army while covering the redeployment of Lebanese troops in the town of Taybeh, illustrating the risks faced by journalists in conflict zones.

In another development regarding security operations, Lebanese authorities seized a vehicle loaded with weapons at a checkpoint, leading to the arrest of the vehicle’s driver, who reportedly transported the arms from Syria.
