Morocco and Central African Republic Strengthen Military Collaboration

General Mohammed Berrid and General Zéphirin Mamadou held talks in Rabat to bolster military cooperation between Morocco and the Central African Republic. This meeting is part of General Mamadou’s official visit to Morocco, which extends from January 17 to 23, where he leads a significant military delegation. They explored key areas for bilateral military cooperation, emphasizing training initiatives and mutual visits, recognizing the robust partnership between their forces.
During the discussions, General Mamadou expressed deep appreciation to King Mohammed VI for his support towards the Central African Armed Forces. He acknowledged the valuable contributions of Moroccan troops, which play a pivotal role in stabilization efforts under the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA).
