Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa represented HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister at Kuwait’s National Day celebration in Bahrain. The event reaffirmed the strong historical ties and cooperation between Bahrain and Kuwait. A ceremony honored former ambassadors from Bahrain to Kuwait and dedicated employees of the Kuwaiti Embassy for their contributions.

Manama, Feb. 25 (BNA): On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, attended a reception organized by the Kuwaiti Embassy in Bahrain to commemorate Kuwait’s 64th National Day and 34th Liberation Day. He was joined by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, and received by Ambassador Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah.

During the event, the Deputy Prime Minister conveyed the congratulations of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to the leadership of Kuwait, including His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, and His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, as well as His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister of Kuwait, along with the Kuwaiti people.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla emphasized the historical and cooperative ties between Bahrain and Kuwait, reinforcing the commitment of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HH the Amir to enhance relations for mutual benefit. He stated that Bahrain’s presence at Kuwait’s national celebrations demonstrates the enduring bonds, shared values, and appreciation for Kuwait’s support.

The Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged Kuwait’s significant contributions to Gulf cooperation and its pivotal role in regional development while commending the country’s achievements and its commitment to humanitarian efforts under the leadership of HH the Amir.

Ambassador Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah reiterated the strong connections between Kuwait and Bahrain, expressing gratitude for HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s commitment to bilateral relations and thanking the Deputy Prime Minister for his attendance.

The event featured a ceremony honoring former Bahraini ambassadors to Kuwait for their vital role in strengthening ties. Additionally, Bahraini employees at the Kuwaiti Embassy with over 28 years of service were recognized for their dedication and contributions.

The event celebrated Kuwait’s National Day while highlighting the longstanding ties between Bahrain and Kuwait.
