On February 27-28, 2025, Rear Admiral Carlos Sardiello, commander of U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command and U.S. 4th Fleet, hosted a Maritime Staff Talks (MST) delegation from the Ecuadorian Navy at St. Francis Barracks, located within the Florida National Guard Headquarters. The meeting aimed to enhance collaboration and coordination between the two nations’ naval forces.
