Pollard, who joined Leicester ahead of the 2022-2023 season, has made 45 appearances and scored 395 points during his time with the club.

Although initially overlooked for the 2023 Rugby World Cup, Pollard’s performance with Leicester earned him a recall to the Springbok squad, where he contributed to their successful title defense. Reflecting on his decision to leave Leicester, Pollard expressed his fondness for the club but emphasized the importance of returning home after several years in Europe. He stated, “After a lot of thought, the opportunity to go home was one I felt was right for me and my family.”
