This significant event, namely the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and Naval Defence Exhibition (NAVDEX 25), was noted by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a recent statement.

High-profile officials, including the UAE Minister for Tolerance and the defence ministers from Romania and Yemen, visited the PNS Yarmouk. The ISPR emphasized that participation in this exhibition signifies Pakistan’s robust defense ties with the UAE and reinforces its commitment to global maritime security initiatives.

In recent years, Pakistan has been ramping up its naval diplomacy, particularly with Gulf nations, to foster maritime security and defense collaboration. The UAE exhibition, showcasing naval vessels from eight nations and hosting 65 countries, follows Pakistan’s AMAN-25 multinational exercise, which involved maritime drills with participation from 60 nations aimed at enhancing regional security.
