Zamfara Welcomes Defectors into APC: A Strategic Political Alliance

Former AAC governorship candidate Muhammad Kabir-Sani has defected to the APC in Zamfara, joining with former PDP members. Aminu Jaji, a member of the House of Representatives from Zamfara, has welcomed Muhammad Kabir-Sani, the former African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate, into the All Progressives Congress (APC) alongside other former members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). This significant transition occurred during a gathering at Mr. Jaji’s residence in Gusau, where thousands joined the APC through the Jajiyya political movement, led by Isiyaka Ajiya-Anka.
Mr. Kabir-Sani expressed that their decision to join the APC stems from their admiration for Aminu Jaji’s commendable representation and development efforts in Zamfara. Ibrahim Labbo-Anka, representing the PDP state assembly candidates’ forum, remarked on the strength of the APC in the state and emphasized their dedication to positive state development through their affiliation with the party.
In receiving the new members, Mr. Jaji praised their defection as a beneficial addition to the APC and reassured them of inclusive treatment within the party.
