In terms of regional engagement, Uruguayan President Yamandú Orsi engaged in discussions with Colombian President Gustavo Petro, focusing on advancing technological integration between Uruguay and Colombia. Uruguayan Foreign Minister Mario Lubetkin reported, “A deep reflection was made on how to advance in South American integration, an issue that in part is pending.”
During their conversations, both leaders deliberated on South American unity and emphasized the necessity of integrating advanced technologies, algorithms, and artificial intelligence, as indicated by President Petro.
