The Cricket Association of Nepal bid farewell to the Nepali Women’s Cricket Team heading to Uganda for the Four-Nation Women’s T20 series. The tournament begins on March 8, with Nepal scheduled to play against Namibia, Uganda, and Hong Kong. CAN Secretary Paras Khadka expressed wishes for the team’s success and growth through this international exposure. The team comprises Captain Indu Berma and 12 other members, ready to compete for the championship.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) hosted a farewell event for the Nepali Women’s Cricket Team, which is set to compete in the Four-Nation Women’s T20 series in Uganda. The farewell took place on March 5, and CAN conveyed its best wishes for the team’s success during the tournament.

The upcoming series, scheduled from March 8, features teams from Nepal, Uganda, Hong Kong, and Namibia. CAN Secretary Paras Khadka expressed optimism that the team’s exposure to international cricket would enhance their experience and skills.

Nepal’s first match will be against Namibia on March 8, followed by matches against Uganda on March 9 and Hong Kong on March 10. The team will also face Namibia again on March 12, Uganda on March 13, and Hong Kong on March 14. The two teams with the highest scores will compete in the final match.

The roster of the Nepali team includes Captain Indu Berma, along with Rubina Chhetri, Puja Mahato, Alisha Kumari Yadav, Sana Prabin, Roma Thapa, Bindu Rawal, Samjhana Khadka, Mamata Chaudhary, Kabita Joshi, Riya Sharma, Rajmati Airee, Rachana Chaudhary, and Ishwori Bista.

The farewell event organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal emphasized the significance of the Four-Nation Women’s T20 series for the Nepali Women’s Cricket Team.
