The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, made this remark during a courtesy visit from Chinese Ambassador Yu Dunhai at the Radio House in Abuja. He noted that fighting misinformation is crucial for fostering better societal integration and preventing division.
Minister Idris highlighted the global nature of fake news, considering it a significant threat that undermines societal cohesion.
