The construction of the 125 megawatt (MW) Owendo gas-to-power plant will commence in June. The involved parties, including the state-owned Gabon Power Company and Finland’s Wärtsilä, have established a timeline for the project, which will operate under a build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) Independent Power Producer (IPP) model.
