Sudan Files Case Against UAE at World Court Over Allegations of Arms Support

Sudan has initiated legal action against the United Arab Emirates at the International Court of Justice, accusing it of supplying arms to the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and breaching its obligations under the Genocide Convention due to violent incidents in West Darfur. This was announced by the World Court on Thursday and indicates serious allegations regarding the conflict in Sudan.
In response, the United Arab Emirates intends to request the immediate dismissal of the case, asserting that it lacks sufficient legal or factual merit.
