In her discussions, Ambassador Huyền expressed her desire for strong support from the Kenyan government and suggested the swift appointment of honorary consuls in both nations to facilitate economic and trade relations effectively. Furthermore, she conveyed an invitation from Vietnamese State President Lương Cường for President Ruto to visit Việt Nam and attend the Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G) Summit in Hà Nội in April 2025.

President Ruto praised the escalating friendship and cooperation between Kenya and Việt Nam, highlighting the extensive bilateral engagements across various sectors. He expressed confidence in Ambassador Huyền’s capacity to further enhance these partnerships, noting the importance of collaboration.

During a discussion with Ambassador Eliphas Brine, Kenya’s Director-General for Political and Diplomatic Affairs, Huyền underscored the significance of increasing cooperation through delegation exchanges and stronger coordination between their respective foreign ministries. This initiative follows the successful visit to Kenya by Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyễn Minh Hằng in February.
