Ashe had previously taken his expertise to Abu Dhabi less than two years ago and held various positions in fintech, including VP of Tungsten and CTO of CredibleX.

During his tenure at Mox, a digibank affiliated with Standard Chartered, Ashe excelled in leadership roles, notably serving as CTO and later as the interim Chief Information Officer. He successfully spearheaded an agile framework implementation known as the ‘Spotify Model,’ which emphasizes speed and team autonomy.

Partior has endured significant challenges over the past year, including a $60 million fundraising effort and leadership changes with the appointment of Humphrey Valenbrender as the new CEO. Unfortunately, this period also saw staff reductions and reports of a deteriorating workplace culture, with 30 out of 130 employees reportedly leaving the firm. Reviews on platforms like Glassdoor depicted the environment as a “zombie town” with low morale and perceived lack of technical direction, areas where Ashe’s leadership is expected to contribute positively.
