A DEVE delegation of MEPs will visit Tanzania from February 24-26, 2025, to evaluate EU development projects, including Global Gateway initiatives focusing on local economic impact, sustainability, and cooperation.

The DEVE committee from the European Parliament will lead a delegation to Tanzania from February 24 to 26, 2025, welcoming seven Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) under the leadership of Chair Barry Andrews. The purpose of this visit is to gain insights into the Global Gateway initiatives and other development projects in the region, evaluating their effects on the local economy and community.

This mission aims to assess the influence of EU investments on Tanzania, emphasizing sector-specific projects and the overarching impacts of the Global Gateway initiative.
