In January 2025, further violence emerged in Mboki, leading to the deaths of at least 12 individuals at a Fulani camp and the subsequent arrest of 14 alleged perpetrators. The UN urges the CAR government to take decisive action in investigating and prosecuting responsible parties, emphasizing the role of a robust security presence in alleviating impunity in the affected regions.
