Atlas Lithium Corporation, based in Boca Raton, Florida, recently announced the arrival of its modular Dense Media Separation (DMS) lithium processing plant at the Port of Santos, Brazil. This significant milestone is a crucial step towards establishing the company as a major lithium producer in Brazil, particularly in the burgeoning Lithium Valley.
The processing plant’s components were delivered on the cargo vessel “Irene’s Wisdom,” which arrived on March 7, 2025, containing 141 containers and 10 bulk components. Fully owned and funded by Atlas Lithium, the facility left the Port of Durban, South Africa, on February 2, 2025. Two additional containers with spare parts are expected to arrive soon.
Marc Fogassa, Chairman and CEO of Atlas Lithium, expressed optimism regarding this achievement, stating, “This marks a transformative milestone for Atlas Lithium as we advance toward becoming a global supplier in the lithium market.” The company has successfully acquired operational permits and established its modern processing facility, thus overcoming pivotal obstacles towards production.

The Neves Project, Atlas Lithium’s primary operation, obtained its operational permit from the state of Minas Gerais in October 2024. The project aims to produce an initial output of up to 150,000 tonnes per year of battery-grade spodumene concentrate, a vital component for lithium-ion batteries.
