The Miners Association of Nigeria has announced the 2025 Nigeria Mining Week, highlighting its role in economic growth through mineral resources. The event, scheduled for October 13-15, 2025, at the Abuja Continental Hotel, will gather key industry stakeholders to foster policy reforms and investment opportunities. This marks the 10th anniversary of the event, emphasizing ongoing dedication to excellence in the mining sector.

The Miners Association of Nigeria (MAN), in collaboration with its partners, has announced plans to host the 2025 Nigeria Mining Week, a significant event aimed at promoting the role of mineral resources in fostering economic growth. Last year’s edition attracted over 2,100 professionals from the mining sector, showcased around 200 exhibitors, and included participation from over 40 mining operators and 20 exploration companies.

Dele Ayanleke, President of MAN, emphasized the importance of this event as a result of a strong partnership among MAN, PwC Nigeria, and the Vuka Group of South Africa, with support from the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development. Ayanleke stated that Nigeria Mining Week has established itself as a pivotal platform for influencing policy reforms and fostering investment opportunities in the country’s mining sector.

Scheduled for October 13-15, 2025, the event will take place at the Abuja Continental Hotel. Samukelo Madlabane, VUKA Group Event Director for Mining, expressed enthusiasm about the early announcement of the event dates, which allows stakeholders to adequately prepare. He also praised the venue’s excellent service during the previous year’s gathering.

Cyril Azobu, a Partner and Mining Leader at PwC Nigeria, highlighted the significance of the upcoming milestone, celebrating the 10th anniversary of Nigeria Mining Week, which has evolved into a premier platform for mining stakeholders. Azobu reiterated PwC’s commitment to fostering innovation, excellence, and sustainability within the mining sector, looking forward to an engaging event in October.
