On March 10, 2025, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky traveled to Saudi Arabia to engage in discussions with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. Following the meeting, representatives from Kyiv are expected to remain in Riyadh for conversations with the United States. This information was affirmed by Yaroslav Zheleznyak, a member of the Verkhovna Rada, through his Telegram channel.

Zheleznyak stated, “That’s it, the presidential plane flew from Poland to Saudi Arabia.” President Zelensky aims to hold significant talks with Saudi Arabian officials during this visit. Subsequently, additional bilateral discussions will take place between Kyiv and Washington.

The Ukrainian delegation accompanying President Zelensky includes notable figures such as Andriy Ermak, the Head of the Office of the President, Andriy Sibiga, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rustem Umerov, the Minister of Defense, and Pavlo Palisa, Commander of the 93rd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Prior to this diplomatic visit, US President Donald Trump expressed his optimism regarding the forthcoming discussions. He remarked, “I think we will have a good result in Saudi Arabia,” indicating high hopes for constructive outcomes during these crucial meetings.
