Kyrgyz Boxers Secure Three Medals at Youth World Boxing Cup

Kyrgyzstan’s boxers earned three medals at the Youth World Boxing Cup in Montenegro. Amantur Dzhumaev won silver, while Omurbek Malabaev and Zarina Asanova secured bronze medals. They are also competing in the Women’s World Boxing Championship in Serbia.
Kyrgyzstan’s young boxers showcased their talent at the Youth World Boxing Cup held from March 3-9 in Budva, Montenegro. The Boxing Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic announced their achievements on social media. Among the highlights, Amantur Dzhumaev excelled in the up to 57 kilograms category, securing a silver medal, while Omurbek Malabaev and Zarina Asanova claimed bronze medals in the up to 92 kilograms and up to 70 kilograms categories, respectively. Furthermore, Kyrgyz athletes are currently competing in the ongoing Women’s World Boxing Championship in Serbia.
The participation of Kyrgyzstan’s boxers at the Youth World Boxing Cup is commendable, with notable successes including a silver and two bronze medals. As they also engage in the Women’s World Boxing Championship, their performance continues to reflect the growing prowess of Kyrgyz boxing on the international stage.
