Furthermore, Ukraine advanced twelve positions in the GTI rankings due to two attacks in 2024, which resulted in two deaths. The total count of terrorist attacks in Eurasia reached eighteen in 2024, resulting in 199 fatalities, marking the highest toll since 2010.

Countries like Burkina Faso, Pakistan, and Syria scored the highest with points of 8.5, 8.3, and 8.0, respectively.
