The House of Representatives successfully resolved the dispute between MPs Muhammad Al-Jarrah and Qassem Al-Baqa’i, following an apology from Al-Jarrah after a physical confrontation linked to party disagreements. A parliamentary delegation intervened to settle the matter amicably.

Today, the House of Representatives concluded the dispute involving MPs Muhammad Al-Jarrah and Qassem Al-Baqa’i, marked by an apology from MP Al-Jarrah directed towards his colleague and the House itself. This resolution came after a violent altercation that occurred last Tuesday, where MP Al-Jarrah allegedly attempted to assault MP Al-Baqa’i within the parliamentary premises.

The conflict reportedly arose due to Al-Jarrah’s expulsion from the Labor Party, where MP Al-Baqa’i serves as deputy secretary-general. Al-Jarrah claimed that Al-Baqa’i had insulted him during his remarks about the reasons for the expulsion, intensifying their disagreement into a physical confrontation.

In a gesture to mend their relations, a parliamentary delegation led by MP Saleh Al-Armouti, along with seven other MPs, visited MP Al-Baqa’i at his residence last night. During this visit, MP Al-Jarrah extended his apology, effectively resolving the dispute between the two lawmakers.

In conclusion, the discord between MPs Al-Jarrah and Al-Baqa’i has been settled following an apology from Al-Jarrah. The initial conflict stemmed from Al-Jarrah’s expulsion from the Labor Party and subsequent insults that led to physical escalation. The intervention of a parliamentary delegation facilitated reconciliation, restoring decorum within the House of Representatives.
