Courses will cover vital areas such as cargo handling, ship deck operations, auxiliary machinery management, industrial painting and corrosion control, welding, diesel engine mechanics, and vessel electrical systems. Cassio Coelho, the Secretary of State for Energy and the Blue Economy, emphasized the significance of the Blue Economy as a primary source of state revenue and innovation. He noted its role in modernizing port infrastructure, enhancing shipbuilding, and spurring growth in maritime transport, logistics, as well as coastal tourism and fishing sectors.
