Kenyans Excel at 2025 Sands China Macao International 10K Race

The 2025 Sands China Macao International 10K race featured Betty Sigei and Vincent Kibet Langat of Kenya winning the women’s and men’s titles, respectively, both setting new race records. Local competitors Hoi Long and Wang Kun also triumphed in their divisions. Cash prizes were awarded to the top three finishers in each category, and the race took place between Sai Van Lake Square and the Olympic Sports Centre Stadium.

The Macao residents’ category saw Chao Kin I and Law Kwan Wai rounding out the top three in the women’s division, while Wong Chin Wa and Ip Weng Tou secured the second and third spots in the men’s category. Winners of the 10K division have an opportunity to win a monetary prize, with champions receiving US$10,000 and runners-up earning US$5,000 and US$2,500 for second and third places, respectively.

The event commenced at Sai Van Lake Square and concluded at the Olympic Sports Centre Stadium, showcasing both local and international talent in a festive atmosphere.
