In March 2025, Brazil’s Industrial Entrepreneur Confidence Index (ICEI) experienced a marginal increase to 49.2, slightly above February’s 49.1. This change indicates a trend of subdued business sentiment, being the lowest level of optimism recorded since April 2023.

Expectations regarding individual company performance showed a small improvement, rising from 51.5 in February to 51.8 in March. Additionally, broader economic expectations increased from 42.8 to 43.0.
