BYD Seagull Launches in Morocco with Two Innovative Range Options

BYD has launched the Seagull in Morocco, offering two electric variants with driving ranges of 230km and 300km. The vehicle, charged from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes, features advanced safety and connectivity systems. Since July 2023, BYD has introduced six passenger vehicles in Morocco, demonstrating its rapid growth in the market.

Recently, the BYD Seagull has been officially launched in the Moroccan market, presenting consumers with two distinct variants. Both versions are outfitted with BYD blade batteries and provide an impressive driving range of 230 kilometers and 300 kilometers, respectively. Notably, under DC fast charging conditions, the vehicle can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes, enhancing convenience for users.

Since marking its entrance into the Moroccan market in July 2023, BYD has successfully introduced a total of six passenger vehicles. These include the Han, Tang, Yuan PLUS, Song PLUS, Seal, and now the Seagull, expanding the company’s footprint in the region and catering to diverse consumer preferences.

During the press conference, Mr. Adil Bennami, the General Manager of BYD’s Moroccan partner Auto Nejma, highlighted the Seagull’s significance. He stated, ‘This electric vehicle, specifically designed for urban scenarios, perfectly integrates cutting-edge technology with practical design, continuously demonstrating the concept of improving life through technological innovation.’ As a pivotal addition to Morocco’s new energy market, the Seagull boasts a robust body structure, enhanced safety features, including up to six airbags, and advanced technology features such as a 10.1-inch adaptive rotating screen and a smart connectivity system that supports Android Auto and Apple Carplay. Furthermore, the vehicle enables intelligent voice control, catering to a more interactive and enjoyable driving experience.
