Her notable projects include credits in documentaries like “Tren de la Línea Norte” and “La música de las esferas.” She has collaborated frequently with Patricia Ramos and earned recognition at the Ceará Festival in Brazil for her work in “La mujer salvaje.”

In contrast, Ulises Hernandez boasts an extensive portfolio within Cuban cinema, earning accolades in both national and international arenas. His collaborations with director Enrique Álvarez stand out, having composed music for three films: “La ola,” “La caja negra,” and “Bajo un sol poderoso.” His contributions to Cuban filmography extend to significant titles directed by various prominent filmmakers.

In this year’s Platinum Awards competition, Hernandez faces competition from notable projects such as the Argentine film “El Jockey” and the Spanish films “La infiltrada” and “Segundo premio.” Hernandez’s compositions will compete against renowned composers, including Gustavo Santaolalla and Alberto Iglesias. The Spanish film “La Infiltrada” leads with eleven nominations, while “One Hundred Years of Solitude” from Netflix stands out with eight nominations this year.
