The tournaments are scheduled from March 17 to 22, 2025, at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida, featuring around 150 athletes from 12 countries, including Iran, Cambodia, Japan, Thailand, and others. Kaushik remarked that India, having won the previous ISTC, is confident of achieving victory again.
Kaushik underscored the successful hosting of the championships, which welcomed players from 15 countries such as Hungary, Chile, and Korea. However, he noted the absence of the Pakistan and Bangladesh teams. He stated, “All the overseas players from different parts of the world are pleased. All the facilities are there, and authorities have greatly helped us.”
In addition, he commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts in enhancing sports within the nation. Kaushik expressed appreciation for the Prime Minister’s engagement with athletes, highlighting the positive impact it creates on their morale and the federations. He remarked, “When our PM stands shoulder to shoulder with players, the excitement among players and federations will rise.”
