The EU-Africa Chamber of Commerce (EUACC) will host the Blockchain & AI B2B event on April 8-9, 2025, in Abidjan, supported by the ITC and the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event aims to foster partnerships between Ghanaian and Ivorian startups and is part of a trade mission culminating in the Abidjan Blockchain Week.

The EU-Africa Chamber of Commerce (EUACC) has announced the Blockchain & AI B2B event, scheduled for April 8-9, 2025, in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. This initiative is supported by the International Trade Center (ITC) and the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, under the Netherlands Trust Fund V Ghana Tech Project. This event aims to foster partnerships between startups in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire as part of a larger trade mission.

The trade mission includes a visit to VITIB, the Ivorian Tech Village, recognized for its contribution to digital innovation. This initiative is significant leading up to the Abidjan Blockchain Week in July 2025, part of the IVOIRETECH FORUM organized by Côte d’Ivoire’s Ministry of Digital Transition and Digitalization.

The event will focus on the rapidly evolving digital landscape in Africa, with a particular emphasis on AI and blockchain technologies driving economic transformation. Key highlights include expert panels discussing the impact of these technologies, B2B networking opportunities, pitching sessions for innovative startups, and an immersive tour of the VITIB Tech Village.

Binance Africa, a prominent entity in the blockchain sector, has joined as a key sponsor to enhance the event’s visibility. Through this engagement, the EUACC continues its mission to promote digital inclusion and economic growth across the African continent, reinforcing its position as a facilitator of innovation and trade.
