The new facility will feature numerous consultation rooms, operating rooms, and intensive care units, thereby providing comprehensive healthcare to the community. “By unlocking several projects, we will benefit more than three million people in Apurímac with a modern, specialized, high-complexity hospital,” Mrs. Boluarte explained.
Moreover, this project will extend benefits to Cusco, addressing overcrowding issues at Antonio Lorena Hospital, which had faced construction delays due to corruption. The President condemned previous regional governors for their corrupt practices. “Today, our government has unlocked the Lorena Hospital project, and we are building it without corruption,” she asserted.
