Swan Hellenic is dedicated to enhancing its presence in Latin America, having recently appointed Gustavo Benetti as its new sales director for the region. During a recent industry event in Brazil, Mr. Benetti asserted, “The company is really investing in our markets.” He emphasized Brazil’s significance as a promising market, stating that Swan Hellenic’s focus extends across Latin America as a whole.

The company’s investment is primarily aimed at marketing and establishing a physical presence in Brazil, with Mr. Benetti noting, “Currently, there is no other company in the region with such a focused presence.” In addition to its marketing efforts, he also highlighted the unique expeditions that the company offers in the region.

Later this year, Swan Hellenic plans to return to Antarctica via the Caribbean, featuring itineraries that will navigate the Amazon, Belém, and the extraordinary Lençóis Maranhenses. Mr. Benetti remarked, “No one can replicate this kind of experience,” reflecting the distinctiveness of their offerings.

One significant itinerary includes a 19-night journey from Barbados to Salvador aboard the SH Vega, set for mid-October 2025. This expedition will feature stops at UNESCO-listed sites, including Paramaribo, Iles du Salut, and Rio Cajari’s ecological reserves, and will enable exploration of the Amazon River, visiting locations such as Macapá and Aquiqui.

Gustavo Benetti, who joined Swan Hellenic earlier this year, brings 18 years of experience from the travel industry, having previously served as a business development manager at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Brazil. Moreover, he indicated that beyond the scope of Latin America, Swan Hellenic promotes a variety of global itineraries, asserting, “Our slogan is ‘See What Others Don’t,’ so we are present on every continent.” Their offerings include trips to Antarctica, the Arctic, the North Pole, Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean.
