Condor Resources Inc. (TSX-V: CN, OTC: CNRIF) CEO Chris Buncic recently discussed the company’s exploration initiatives in Peru with Stephen Gunnion of Proactive. Among the highlights is the confirmation of a copper-molybdenum porphyry discovery at Rio Bravo, which has generated heightened interest from the industry for potential partnerships.

Buncic elaborated on upcoming drilling campaigns, detailing a 1,500-meter program at Huiñac Punta and a 2,000-meter initiative at Pucamayo East, slated to commence once weather conditions are favorable. He noted that Pucamayo Southeast is awaiting a DIA permit, prompting a temporary focus shift to projects that hold full permits.

Additionally, Buncic provided insights regarding the joint venture at Cobreorco with Teck Resources, which involves an investment of $10 million over six years in exchange for a 75% ownership stake. Permit approvals for this project are underway, and drilling is anticipated to begin in the latter half of the year.

Looking to the future, Buncic expressed optimism regarding various catalysts, including active drilling operations and potential partnership agreements.

In summary, Condor Resources is making substantial progress in its exploration efforts in Peru, particularly with new copper-molybdenum findings. Upcoming drilling programs are poised to advance once weather permits, while the joint venture with Teck Resources is expected to enhance the company’s positioning in the market. With these developments, Condor is well-positioned for future growth through active engagement and exploration activities.
