He clarified that the recent assembly comprised devoted individuals rather than political party chairmen, highlighting a common commitment to Nigeria’s future.
Tanko reinforced that the coalition’s focus is on engaging qualified individuals dedicated to addressing the interests of the Nigerian populace. He dismissed the presence of political party chairmen at the meeting, stating, “There was no single political party chairman at that particular city, none. There were only individuals who have run for election and some other members of that political party.”
In response to questions regarding the coalition’s aims, Tanko indicated that potential party affiliations might arise later; however, the immediate goal is to “fight for the soul of Nigeria.” He asserted that the current priority is to maintain democratic integrity and avert the threats of chaos and devastation.

He pointed out the participation of notable political figures, including a former vice president and a former governor of Anambra State, who commands substantial support from young Nigerians.
