Iran’s Foreign Minister condemned Israeli actions in Gaza and Lebanon, linking these to U.S. support, and called for regional cooperation to address the violence. Conversations with Iraq and Turkey emphasized the need for collective action to protect sovereignty and assist the Palestinian cause. Israel’s ongoing violations of ceasefire agreements have intensified regional tensions, highlighting the need for immediate diplomatic efforts.

Iran’s foreign minister has vocally condemned Israel’s ongoing actions in Gaza and its aggressions against Lebanon. During a conversation with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fawad Hussein, Abbas Araghchi stated that these violations are conducted with the tacit endorsement of the United States. He called for immediate intervention from the international community, especially from regional and Islamic nations, to halt Israel’s activities that exacerbate insecurity across the region.

Araghchi underscored the threats posed by the U.S.’s military presence in countries throughout the region, advocating for measures to ensure national sovereignty is not compromised by foreign interventions. He urged neighboring countries to remain vigilant against divisive actions instigated by the U.S. Additionally, he dismissed claims by U.S. officials regarding sanctions on Iran’s oil industry, asserting that these accusations lack credibility.

In a concurrent conversation with Iraqi Foreign Minister Hussein, concerns were expressed about the broader implications of ongoing aggressions in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria. The Iraqi official highlighted the need for solidarity and cooperation among regional nations to support the plight of the Palestinian people and preserve regional stability.

On a different note, in his dialogue with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Araghchi maintained that recent developments in Turkey are a domestic matter and expressed confidence in the government’s capability to address the situation in a manner that aligns with national interests.

In January, Israel was compelled to accept a ceasefire agreement with Hamas after failing to meet its objectives, including the suppression of Palestinian resistance. However, despite this, Israel has resumed strikes on Gaza, violating the truce terms. Similarly, Israel’s engagement with Hezbollah also culminated in a ceasefire agreement; yet, Israel has continued to carry out assaults in Lebanon since then, disregarding the terms set forth.

Iran’s foreign minister has condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza and Lebanon while calling for intervention from the international community. Emphasizing the U.S.’s role in aggravating regional conflicts, he has urged neighboring nations to mitigate foreign military influences. The conversations with Iraqi and Turkish counterparts reflect a consensus on the importance of regional cooperation to address the ongoing crises. Israel’s pattern of aggression and disregard for ceasefire agreements poses significant challenges to regional stability.
