Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has condemned Israeli actions in Gaza and Lebanon as genocide and aggression, urging international intervention. He criticized U.S. involvement in these issues and emphasized the need for regional cooperation to protect sovereignty against foreign military influences. Recent violations of ceasefire agreements by Israel exacerbate tensions across the region.

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has denounced the ongoing Israeli actions labeled as genocide against Gaza and its military aggression towards Lebanon. In a recent discussion with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fawad Hussein, he stated that these actions are facilitated by the support of the United States. Araghchi urged for immediate intervention by the international community, particularly from regional and Islamic nations, to halt these crimes and prevent escalating insecurity in the region.

He further highlighted the dangers posed by the United States’ use of its military bases in the region, which he claims are being utilized to execute aggressive maneuvers against neighboring countries. Araghchi stressed that regional nations must take steps to ensure their territories are not exploited by foreign military forces, thereby safeguarding their national sovereignty. He also advised neighboring nations to remain vigilant against provocations incited by the U.S.

Addressing the U.S. sanctions on Iran’s oil industry, Araghchi dismissed claims from U.S. officials as baseless attempts to apply pressure on Iran. Meanwhile, the Iraqi Foreign Minister expressed deep concerns regarding the ramifications of the ongoing hostilities in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, highlighting the necessity for collaboration among regional states to alleviate the plight of the Palestinian populace and maintain regional stability.

In a separate conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Araghchi referred to the situation in Turkey as an internal matter, expressing confidence in Turkey’s capacity to manage its affairs aligned with the nation’s interests. This follows the Israeli regime’s earlier agreement to a ceasefire with Hamas in January due to its inability to meet its objectives.

Although a ceasefire was initially established, it has been repeatedly violated by Israel, which has resumed strikes on Gaza, subsequently breaking the terms of the engagement. Furthermore, after a prolonged conflict lasting nearly 14 months, Israel also reached a ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah in November but has continued to conduct assaults in Lebanon despite established terms of the truce, reflecting a pattern of ongoing hostilities despite diplomatic efforts.

In conclusion, Iran’s Foreign Minister has strongly condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza and Lebanon, calling for collective action from the international community to address these aggressions. The need for regional cooperation and oversight of U.S. military bases was emphasized to safeguard national sovereignty. Continued violations of ceasefire agreements by Israel showcase an alarming trend, necessitating urgent attention to ensure the stability and security of affected regions.
