His successor, Professional Engineer Thomas Seifart, expressed that while Lemperts will be greatly missed, his retirement is well-deserved. Seifart also noted, “It is with mixed emotions that we announce that after more than 35 years of dedicated service in the water and wastewater treatment field, Dr. Lempert will be retiring from Aquarius Consult at the end of April 2025.” He highlighted Lemperts’ capability to tackle complex challenges and meet ambitious deadlines, even considering Sundays as normal working days.
