JN Money, a Jamaican-owned remittance company, has recently inaugurated its first Florida branch in Orlando, marking a pivotal advancement in its expansion strategy across the United States. JN Money, affiliated with the JN Financial Group based in Kingston, specializes in providing money transfer services to Caribbean nations and beyond.

Recognizing Florida’s substantial Caribbean immigrant demographic, General Manager Horace Hines emphasized the importance of strengthening the brand’s presence where remittance services are essential for local communities. The new Orlando branch has been established at 5131 W Colonial Drive, within the Caribbean Super Centre Plaza.

This new location represents JN Money’s second establishment in the southern United States and raises the total number of branches in the U.S. to 13. These locations span several states, including New York, Georgia, and Connecticut, complemented by a network of 47 agents nationwide.

In 2023, the company expanded its agency network by partnering with Laparkan Global and Freight Logistics Solutions, enhancing accessibility to JN Money services through Laparkan’s 12 branches across the country. Hines articulated the mission to streamline money transfers, highlighting the significant diaspora present in Orlando.

The firm has recently received authorization to operate in Rhode Island and has plans to expand into more states in 2025. Additionally, JN Money is preparing to launch a mobile application aimed at improving customer accessibility, further expanding on their digital offerings, which currently include options for sending funds and bill payments online.

This mobile app is anticipated to enhance convenience by allowing users to send money directly from their smartphones, thus contributing to their commitment to reliable financial services for the Caribbean community in the U.S.

JN Money’s expansion into Orlando marks a significant milestone in its strategy to enhance its service offerings to Caribbean nationals in the United States. With a focus on community needs, the company aims to provide reliable financial services while strengthening its presence in key markets. The anticipated launch of a mobile application is expected to further facilitate ease of access for customers, enhancing their overall experience.
