Top female cricketers from Guyana will compete in the Inter-County T20 tournament this weekend at La Bonne Intention ground. Matches begin at 13:00 hours, featuring Demerara, Berbice, and Essequibo teams. This weekend, top female cricketers from Guyana will compete in the Guyana Cricket Board’s Inter-County T20 tournament held at La Bonne Intention ground. The tournament will not only crown a county champion but also serve as a selection ground for the national team ahead of the regional T20 competition. All matches are scheduled to commence at 13:00 hours, with the following fixtures:
– April 5: Demerara vs Essequibo
– April 6: Berbice vs Essequibo
– April 7: Berbice vs Demerara.

The Demerara team, captained by Kaysia Schultz, features players such as Nyia Latchman, Tilleya Madramootoo, and Naomi Barkoye. Also included in the squad are Letisha Jordan, Cianna Barkoye, Roshanna Harper, Chelsea Latif, Rushell Roberts, Rebecca Cilto, Anita Hendricks, Lynda Sylvan, Afifah Wickhm, Anesa Chetram, and Racel Joseph, creating a strong and competitive lineup.

Captain Sheneta Grimmond will lead the Berbice side, supported by vice-captain Realanna Grimmond.
