These statements from Indian officials come as preparations are underway for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official visit to Saudi Arabia on April 22 and 23, which will be the first during his third term. This visit follows the recent State Visit of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to India in September 2023, where he co-chaired the inaugural India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council meeting with PM Modi.

The Foreign Secretary highlighted that this forthcoming visit underscores the deepening partnership between India and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the strategic nature of their bilateral relationship.
