The United Arab Emirates (UAE) recently participated in the second BRICS Sherpa meeting, held to prepare for the upcoming BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting set for April 28–29, 2025. During discussions, member states focused on drafting a Foreign Ministers’ Statement and identifying key cooperative areas among BRICS nations.
His Excellency highlighted the critical need for the group to achieve meaningful economic outcomes, which would have a positive impact across member economies. He also praised the commitment and cooperation displayed by the members toward deepening economic collaboration.
In addition to the main discussions, His Excellency took part in several bilateral meetings with the Sherpa from Brazil, the host country, as well as representatives from other BRICS nations. These meetings aimed to strengthen collaborative and bilateral relations among the countries involved.
