Turkey’s concerns regarding the tactical situation in northeast Syria have provoked heightened diplomatic discussions, including a meeting between SDF Commander Mazloum Abdi and former Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government President Masoud Barzani to discuss Kurdish unity and the situation in Syria.
