The discussions involved Suren Papikyan from Armenia, Monica Chang’ Anamuno from Malawi, and Lieutenant General Sahivelo Lala Monja Delphin from Madagascar. In his interactions, Rajnath Singh highlighted his discussions with the Defence Minister of Madagascar, stating, “Held productive discussions with Madagascar’s Minister of Armed Forces Lt Gen Sahivelo Lala Monja Delphin in Bengaluru.” He also noted an excellent meeting with Malawi’s Minister, aiming to expedite the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for Defence Cooperation, stating, “We agreed to expedite signing of Memorandum of Understanding on Defence Cooperation to strengthen strategic interests.”
Further, Singh remarked on his meeting with Armenia’s Defence Minister, discussing the progress in their bilateral defence relationship, where he said, “Reviewed the significant progress made in our bilateral defence ties and we both agreed to further deepen collaboration.”
Earlier that day, addressing the Global Investors Meet, Singh acknowledged Bengaluru’s pivotal role in driving India’s technological advancement, being home to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. He asserted that Bengaluru, not only shapes the future of India but also spearheads innovation on a global scale.
