In addition to advocating for a ceasefire, the UAE has announced plans to host a summit on Friday in collaboration with the African Union in Addis Ababa, aiming to secure funding for humanitarian efforts in Sudan. The UAE is expected to unveil a $200 million pledge for this purpose. In defense of its position, the UAE official remarked that the Sudanese army has attempted to misrepresent the UAE’s role, stating that, “These allegations will not divert the UAE’s attention from its primary objective, which is aimed at promoting stability.”
