Abdul-Salam reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering commitment to defending Palestinian rights, asserting that actions going forward will depend on Israel’s compliance with the ceasefire agreement. He warned that any breaches will not be tolerated, as Yemen remains vigilant against any efforts to dislocate Gaza’s population.

During a separate diplomatic engagement, Araghchi urged a unified Muslim response to the Palestinian crisis during a meeting with GCC Secretary General Jasem Albudaiwi. He commended the opposition from several Arab nations against proposals to forcibly relocate Gaza residents, stating that such actions threaten to dismantle Palestinian identity and provoke instability in the region.

Iran and India also engaged in discussions on enhancing their bilateral relations, with Araghchi meeting Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar to review recent progress. They highlighted cooperative efforts in various sectors and committed to maintaining momentum for significant future developments, particularly regarding the Chabahar Port, reinforcing it as a pivotal regional trade hub.

He reiterated Iran’s readiness to foster cooperations in economic and humanitarian areas and expressed appreciation for the support given during recent evacuations from Gaza.

Lastly, Araghchi met with Switzerland’s Special Envoy for the Middle East, Wolfgang Amadeus Brülhart, to discuss necessary international actions against Israeli policies infringing upon Palestinian sovereignty, underscoring Iran’s position on these critical developments.
