“I wish we could have taken more children,” stated Tariq al-Hamdan, an emergency room medic from Amman’s King Hussein hospital, underscoring the desperate need for medical evacuation of Gaza’s patients. While the Jordanian government aims to evacuate 2,000 critical child patients, logistical constraints mean that only a fraction can be assisted at this time.
