Zimbabwe Anticipates Record Tobacco Harvest of 300 Million Kilogrammes This Year

As the tobacco selling season approaches on Wednesday, TIMB has authorized 31 A-Class buyers and 44 contractors to facilitate the market activities.
With 55 markets prepared for this year, including both contract and auction varieties, all facilities have undergone necessary inspections and received approval from TIMB staff to ensure readiness. Tobacco continues to be Zimbabwe’s foremost agricultural export, serving as a vital source of foreign currency for the nation.
