Minister Fidan expressed support for the Egyptian reconstruction efforts and sought mechanisms for enhancing Arab and Islamic cooperation within the OIC to promote and secure necessary political and financial backing for the reconstruction plan. The meeting also covered military and security dynamics in Syria. Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to Syria’s sovereignty and the stability of its institutions. Additionally, the OIC officially reinstated Syria’s membership and backed the Arab reconstruction initiative for Gaza.
